Managing Director
Founder, Head Pilot, principal author of DTA's flight and operating procedures, and a principal contributor to DTA's drone electronics and hardware technology.
David has 20 years' experience in IT and software development, and has been a keen radio controlled flying enthusiast for 20 years, building and flying many different systems since a teenager.

John Palmer
Operations & Business Development Director
Investor in DTA and a principal contributor to our sales, marketing and general management processes.
Founder & Managing Director of n.able technology services (2002)
and TecruiT Technology Recruitment (2010). Both companies are active today.
John has 38 years' experience in development and management of electronics and software products in major corporations in the Computer, Telecomms, EDA and Technology Services industries.
John holds a B.Sc. in Computer Engineering from the University of Manchester, UK and a Diploma in Marketing from the British Chartered Institute of Marketing.
Interesting fact: Hyakushō John holds a 6th Dan black belt in Origami!

Holding a First class degree in Computer Software Engineering and 20 years' experience in electronics and software development, our Technical Director has a wealth of technology expertise across all aspects of drone electronics and software.

Huw Jones
Ground Staff Manager & Health & Safety Officer
Huw brings a wealth of aerospace and HSE experience to DTA.
Highly experienced in ISO 14001, Environment Health & Safety (EHS), Workplace Safety, Risk Assessment, ISO 9001 and with particular focus on aerospace throughout his career, Huw drives forward DTA quality and safety.
With 15 years of as an aircraft technician (12 years in the RAF) followed by 10 years in HSE corporate roles, Huw's expertise is core to DTA's focus on safety and flying competency.
Huw holds a PGC in Occupational Health and Safety from the University of Portsmouth, is a Grad IOSH (graduate member of the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health professionals) and maintains a current NEBOSH certification.
Interesting fact: Sensei Huw holds a 3rd Dan black belt in Judo!

Video Production Manager & Camera Operator
James (Jim) freelances as our video & film guru.
Writer, director and video & film producer.
With more than 14 years' experience in all aspects of video & film production.
Company owner-director (& film director) at Mad Science Films.
Jim holds a degree from Aberystwyth University.
